I understand that my participation in the Peacebuilding Fundamentals course offered by CRS is entirely voluntary.

By continuing with my registration on the course platform on Moodle, I understand that I am consenting to the following uses of my personal information:

• CRS has records of:
  • My name, email address, and user profile details including any specific location or language I choose.
  • Course participation data (e.g., assignments, quizzes, forum posts)
  • System usage logs (IP address, first and last connection dates) for security and performance monitoring purposes.
• Access to this information will only be available to a limited number of CRS staff on a need-to-know basis. 
• My user account will be deleted after the conclusion of the course, along with all information associated with the account with the exception of my name and email address.
• CRS will export my name and email address from the course platform and will keep this information in its records indefinitely, for the following purposes:
  • Generating a certificate of completion at the end of the course.
  • For CRS staff, allowing course participants to receive credit on CRS Learns for their completion of the course.
  • Historical records of which staff members and partners have completed the Peacebuilding Fundamentals.
  • As applicable, sharing the list of names with the University of Notre Dame for the sole purpose of generating course certificates.
• CRS will keep the above-described records in a Microsoft Teams file that is only accessible to a limited number of staff on a need-to-know basis.

I understand that it is possible for me to pause or withdraw my consent at any time by emailing this request to peacebuilding@crs.org. Pausing my consent will stop any processing of my personal data, but will also pause my account access to the course platform and will prevent me from accessing materials during the pause. Withdrawing my consent means that my account on the course platform on Moodle will be deleted along with all personally identifying information associated with the account. Withdrawing my consent prior to the end of the course also means withdrawing from the course, and in this case, I may not receive a certificate of completion.

I confirm that I have read and understood these conditions and voluntarily accept them and consent to proceed with my course registration.
